About the Artist

My name is Jamie Tenny and I’m an acrylic artist based in colorful Colorado. My creative journey began with drawing and sketching at a young age, but over time I discovered my true passion in bringing life to vibrant colors. For more than a decade, I’ve been painting galaxies, fantasy worlds, and bright, imaginative scenes that reflect my love for bold expression.

Every painting is signed with “Immy,” a nickname gifted to me by friends in junior high, and each piece carries a part of my story. In 2015, I founded Cryptic Charm Art—an affordable art shop designed to make original artwork and handcrafted treasures accessible to everyone. Art should be for all, not just the wealthy, and my shop reflects that belief.

From whimsical dreamcatchers to one-of-a-kind paintings, every creation is handmade with care—sometimes over hours, sometimes over years—crafted at my kitchen counter or in my studio, often with my favorite movies playing (yes, lots of Coraline). My husband and dog cheer me on, supporting my creative spirit every step of the way.
